When being online feels like too much
Group chats that never stop. Comparing yourself to everyone’s highlight reel. Pressure to reply, to look a certain way, to keep up. If your phone has started to feel heavy instead of fun, that’s worth talking about. There’s a real person ready to listen.
If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone
A lot of young people feel this and never say it out loud. Naming it is a good first step, and there’s nothing wrong with you for feeling it.
The chat never stops
It can feel like you always have to be available. If you miss a message or take a break, it can feel like you’re letting people down or getting left out.
Everyone seems happier
Scrolling past everyone’s best moments can make your own life feel small. Comparing yourself to a feed isn’t a fair fight, and it can wear you down.
You can’t switch off
Maybe it’s hard to put the phone down, or you feel anxious when you do. Wanting a little space from all of it is a completely normal thing to want.
A trained Peer Coach who has been there
Peer Coaches are real people, trained to listen and walk alongside you. They won’t lecture, judge, or report your every move. Many of them remember exactly what it’s like to feel this kind of pressure, so you don’t have to explain why it matters.
They work as part of a supported team, with experienced supervisors behind them. That means you get a warm, human conversation, and there’s structure and oversight keeping that support safe and steady.
Peer support is connection and encouragement from someone who understands. It isn’t therapy, a diagnosis, or a crisis service. If you ever need more than that, your Peer Coach will help you find it.
- Listens first, without judging or making it a big deal.
- Trained to talk with young people, with supervisors supporting them.
- Helps you find small, doable next steps, at your pace.
- Knows when to connect you with extra help, and how to do it.
- There to support you, not to monitor or track what you do online.
A human in your corner, with helpful tech in the background
The most important part is the person you talk to. Behind the scenes, Intelligent Guidance just helps make that connection smoother. It never takes the place of your Peer Coach.
A real person to talk to
You’re matched with a Peer Coach who listens, takes you seriously, and meets you where you are. No scripts, no pressure to perform.
Tech that assists, quietly
Intelligent Guidance helps connect you to the right Peer Coach and keeps the conversation organized. It assists the humans. It doesn’t replace them.
A path to more, if you want it
If things ever feel bigger than a conversation, your Peer Coach can help connect you to clinical, school, or crisis resources, at the right time, the right way.
It’s lower-key than you might think
You’re in control of the conversation. There’s no test to pass and nothing you have to share before you’re ready.
Reach out
Start the conversation whenever you’re ready. You can say as much or as little as you want about what’s going on.
Get matched
You’re connected with a trained Peer Coach. The first chat is just about getting to know each other. No pressure.
Talk it through
Share what’s been weighing on you. Your Peer Coach listens and helps you sort through it at a pace that feels okay.
Find next steps
Together you can figure out small things that might help, and, if you’d like, a connection to more support.

A supported place to talk, set up with your community
Chaperone is often offered through a school, district, or community organization. We focus on giving young people a warm, supervised first step toward support, backed by trained Peer Coaches and experienced supervisors.
Our approach is about safe, supportive connection, not fear-based messaging or watching what young people do online. How privacy, escalation, and parent or guardian involvement work is configured with each program and aligned to its standards.
You don’t have to carry the online stuff on your own
Reaching out is a strong move, not a weak one. A trained Peer Coach is ready to listen whenever you’re ready to talk.
