Connect with a Peer Coach, the way that fits

Live, scheduled, or message-based: people reach their Peer Coach in the moment that works for them, and support stays continuous between conversations. The platform keeps it organized, supervised, and easy to pick back up.

    Ways to connect

Three ways to reach support, one continuous relationship

Some moments call for a real-time conversation. Others are better planned ahead, or handled in a message when there’s a quiet minute. Chaperone supports all three, and the thread of support carries across them.

    Live sessions

Connect with an available Peer Coach for a real-time conversation when someone is ready to talk. Availability depends on coverage and your organization’s plan; the platform shows what’s open rather than promising an instant match.

    Meet the Peer Coach model

    Scheduled sessions

Book a time that works around school, work, and life. People can choose a slot, see it on their calendar, and return to the same Peer Coach when continuity matters most.

    See how navigation works

    Messaging & between-session support

Send a message between sessions to share an update, ask a question, or stay connected. Replies arrive within the support hours and response windows set for your program, not necessarily in the moment.

    How AI assists
    Continuity

    One thread, no starting over

Every live session, scheduled visit, and message lives in one continuous thread. When someone returns, their Peer Coach has the context to pick up where things left off, so people don’t have to re-tell their story each time.

When a relationship needs to hand off, intelligent guidance can draft a summary for the next coach to review, always under human supervision, never as a replacement for the coach’s own judgment.

    See the Peer Coach relationship
    • One shared thread across live, scheduled, and message-based support
    • Return to the same Peer Coach whenever continuity is the priority
    • Context that carries so people never start over
    • Supervised handoffs with AI-drafted summaries a human reviews
    Reminders & gentle nudges

    Helpful reminders, never pressure

Reminders help people show up for the support they’ve chosen: a session coming up, a check-in due, a message waiting. They’re encouraging, easy to adjust, and always something a person can turn down.

    Session reminders

A friendly heads-up before a scheduled session, with one tap to confirm, reschedule, or cancel.

    Check-in nudges

Optional prompts for a quick check-in or a program step, paced to be supportive, not demanding.

    Set the pace

People choose what they hear about and how often, and can pause or silence reminders anytime.

    Controls & access

People stay in control; access fits the plan

Individuals decide how and when they’re contacted, and what their support looks like. Organizations define which connection options are available through their plan or entitlement, so what people see matches what’s actually offered.

Because access is configurable, two organizations can run very different programs on the same platform (different hours, channels, and session types) while every person still gets a clear picture of what’s available to them.

    See deployment options

    Personal preferences

Channels, notification settings, and quiet hours are set by the person and easy to change.

    Plan- or entitlement-based access

Available session types and hours follow the organization’s plan and each member’s eligibility.

    Clear, honest expectations

People see what’s open now and the response windows for messages, with no implied promise of instant access.

    Support availability

Clear about what to expect, when

Peer support is delivered within defined hours and response windows that vary by program. Chaperone shows those expectations plainly so people always know what’s available and when.

    Defined hours
Support availability is set per program and shown in the experience
    Response windows
Messages have stated reply timeframes, not instant, and never overpromised
    Always a path
If support isn’t immediately available, people are guided to the right next step
Important: Peer support is not therapy, clinical treatment, or crisis counseling, and it is not a substitute for emergency services. When a situation calls for urgent or clinical care, Chaperone helps connect people to the appropriate services. See safety & escalation.
